Vege Delight

I was forced to weigh myself when we went to the clinic on Wednesday. And to my horror i've managed to put on a whopping 10kg in 10 months. Thats alot!! So it's time for a new diet plan and a healthier lifestyle. I'm trying to introduce more vege into my cooking so today we had chicken pesto pasta with cherry tomatoes, carrots and snow peas (i love the word "snow pea").

My new favourite salad now to add avocadoes, raisins, zesty italian croutons (the low calarie sort, or not hehe) and low-fat italian dressing to a whole bunch of butterhead lettuce!!! Its sooo gd!

Brig, Ruby & Monkey Kisses

Brig and her monkey kisses.Muaks!

Ruby doubting Brig's sanity hehehe!

Spot the spelling mistake!

On Wednesday we had coffee and ice milo at Du Du Cafe. Brig now has a new friend to look at her photos with her.Ruby's as sweet as my aunty Ruby who sadly passed away 6 years ago. I loved my aunty, she was cool, gorgeous and the most fashion savvy! Ruby reminds me of her.:) Cheers to making new friends!

Arab Street

Poor Joakim is sick and spotty. So after the clinic we had a little look-see in the backstreets (and front streets)of the Arab Street areas. There are now a sprinkle of lovely little stores there which sell the loveliest bags and even some from littleoddforest. Nothing of which i'd pay that much for though.

A lil' blanket for baby Dahlia

I've made this comfy flannel apple blanket for baby dahlia :) Fau i thought you could bring this along with you when you go out so you'll always have a nice clean surface to change baby dahlia on :) I'll also be making her a small diaper bag carry diapers in when her mamma takes her our shoe shopping :) *hehe it's never too early for a girl to have shoes!

felt bag

i love the ribbon i used for this bag. Ive used the same flowery print cloth as the inside lining too.

Wallnut Paper

I've always loved wallpaper. When we were young my daddy installed the wallpaper in our room, it was the "the old lady who lived in the shoe" nursery rhyme print! Here are some from the gallery of wallnutpaper. I especially like the ones with bird motifs on it..... :)

I want all the fabric seen in the photos. Specially the table linen. And i love how they've decorated the kids rooms.

Its so hard to get good printed fabric here in Singapore. Went to IKEA yesterday and the fabric from this years range are horrific. Managed to find and buy only one that to make either placemats a tabble runner or a bag...hmmm maybe i'll make em all!. :)

All photos from DwellShop.

Sewing Book Galore!

I love love love my books! I'm still feeling a little guilty about spending but my daddy always says it's fine to spend if it's on books! i love my daddy.

I've taken advantage of the 30% discount at borders and favourite book so far would still have to be the one by Amy Karol whose designs are so inspiring.

I'm so excited to get started on a project in the "softies" book. Trying to get myself un-intimidated by the thought of making plushies.
