Xmas at ours!

This is the first year celebrating xmas out of sweden ever for Joakim. And i'm so glad it's here with me! We tried to make it as Swedish as possible with Swedish flags, a mini xmas tree with presents and lots of meatballs and cheese, bread, salad, brownies, cake and chicken!!! hehe...:)

We had glögg and raisins which didn't taste as bad as Joakim made it out to be. Too bad we couldn't have more of our friends over or it would have been an even better night than it already was..... thanks brig and ruby and aaron!

Xmas Secret Seven Party!

3 days before xmas and the famous secret 7 have started with the partying already. :)

We had to arrive at the party wearing sevn items or more so joakim and i were all set with tiaras, sunglasses, an oven mitt, necklaces, scarves and actually anything else we could find around the house. Joakim made blueberry muffins, lippy made a gorgeous and delicious "good" chicken pie and i brought fake champagne that was actually sparkling grape juice.

Present time!!!
I got a pretty candle stand from woei na and joakim got very useful canvases and easels for him to paint on! :)

Trial Parents for three hours

Happy Wedding Anniversary K Az and Hafiz!!! Mum booked a room at the Conrad as a present for them and joakim and i got to baby-sit our darling zain while they have a romantic dinner to celebrate! :)

Whoah...all hail mothers around the universe! It's not as easy and fuzzy as us non-mothers imagine it to be but i can see what my sister means by "rewarding" when zainy zoony gives me a big gummy toothless (4 teeth actually) smile right after i clean him from his toxic poo he's just made in his pull-ups. Joakim also managed to find a way to keep zain occupied and happy by hiding at the sides of the bed and popping up to surprise him making zain laugh .. :)

I'm happy to say that we're even more excited to become parents after our "trial" session with our darling nephew who "bites".

Mozi Shop

I read about this online aussie shop called mozi. It has the prettiest products at no-so-bad prices. The best part is that it's in aussie currency so the prices are not so bad when converted. Lookie at what i love!

Talking Trees

by J. Daniel Beaudry

Tree, gather up my thoughts
like the clouds in your branches.
Draw up my soul
like the waters in your root.

In the arteries of your trunk
bring me together.
Through your leaves
breathe out the sky.

These beautiful branches shelter us on our walk to the train station.

My Darling Boys!

Don't they looks precious hanging out together. Joakim will make a super duper dad, so patient and passionate. I can't wait!! whoopie!

We've moved!

We've finally settled in after two weeks of moving and setting up and painting and fixing and cleaning phew... with the help of my darling family and my handy macho tool-man husband *pheeehweeet.... our home is now complete! Will post more images soon.

Above is my most favourite item in the house, it's a Laura Ashly candle stand my mummy bought me. I love how it looks antique-y's so charming and looks perfect on the table we painted.

Zain claps!

My Zain now knows how to clap his hands when you ask him to and he can point out "lights" to you if you ask nicely! hmmm he also still love's me the most after his mamma, baba, nenek and atuk.... :)In the picture above he's distracting himself as his mama's trying to feed him... boys are really good at amusing themselves aren't they!

Congratulations Cindy!

Congratulations Cindy on the birth of your third child, baby Jodi. I love her name... See you and baby soon Cindy...warmest wishes and hugs, tas & joakim.

Happy 1st year anniversary darling!

4 months married on the 19th, and today 1 year as a couple.
What an amazing time. This has truly been the best year of my life, nothing has been the same since. My baby really knows how to make me smile everyday, she knows me like an open book. I have never met anyone that completes me in every aspect of life the way she does.
Last night we where talking memories, how we met, what we remembered. All kinds of fun things. And at one moment she asked me, "how do you know that you love me so much". I couldn't but smile. I said, "sometimes you just know". You always makes me happy and always puts a smile on my face. I never feel alone with you near me, and whenever I'm down, all you need to do is to kiss me to make me feel better. With you in me life I don't miss a thing. I love everything about you. my heart belongs to you Tas.

Thank you so much for everything that you do for me everyday. I love you so much that I honestly can't put words on it, because sometimes you just know in your heart that this is meant to be and your love is everlasting.

A million hugs'n kisses to my lovely wife!

Yours now and forever,
